Artist's Statement

Through layers of transparency and opacity, I explore the liminal spaces between certainty and doubt. My work begins with the physical act of construction – building up surfaces with paint, thread, and various materials – only to methodically deconstruct them, revealing vulnerable underlayers that speak to our psychological fragility.

I concentrate on texture, which functions as both tactile reality and metaphoric device. Rough, collaged surfaces reflect the internal struggles between revealing and concealing. Through this exploration of material and psychological boundaries, I seek to create spaces where I can confront the relationship with uncertainty and find beauty in the unresolved.
